I’m the one who combines professional expertise in language development with the real-life experience of being a bilingual mum, to support parents raising multilingual children abroad, in a daily life that mixes local language, home language, and the longing for cultural connection.

I offer clarity, confidence and practical support, in times when parents quietly wonder: “Am I getting this right?“

Raising a bilingual child gives them incredible benefits, but it also brings up plenty of questions, doubts, and challenges. As a bilingual parent myself, I understand this firsthand. But as an expert in language acquisition, bilingualism, and education, I also know what really works, and why.

With nearly 20 years of experience in English teaching, degrees in Psychology, German Studies, and Translation, and specialist training in Foreign Language Teaching, Adult Learner Support, and Parenting Coaching, I’ve built a career around understanding how languages are actually learned, not just how they’re supposed to be. I train language teachers, publish learning materials, and speak at international conferences on the subject.

But none of that fully prepared me for the reality of raising my own bilingual daughter as the minority language speaker! Like many multilingual toddler parents, I found myself facing questions like:

II knew the answers professionally, and it still didn’t stop the worry. That’s exactly why this matters so much to me: if it hit me this hard with all the training behind me, I know how overwhelming and confusing it can feel without it. I’ve done the research so you don’t have to!
